I must admit, it’s been a rough couple of weeks for me. The biggest issue, is that I had a minor car accident resulting in some very costly repairs. Trying to keep up with my health and responsibilities has been very challenging, especially with the unexpected expenses. While I have no intention of downplaying the weight of reality, I would be lying if I said I am not experiencing some level of gratitude.

I was less than 15 cm (or 6 in) away from hitting a post that would have totalled my car and likely injured me. A kind individual stopped to help me change my tire, and did not ask for compensation or any personal information. The mechanic had an opening the next morning, and was able to fix my car in under a day. I received extra work hours the last few weeks, allowing me to pay for the repairs needed. My friends gave me rides when needed, and prayed for me as I work through the stress of other ongoing challenges this week.

Overall, I am incredibly thankful for God’s provision, and the supports I have in my life. Despite my struggles, I have been minimally overwhelmed. I have felt this overwhelming confidence that God is with me, and what more could I ask for!
